Critical operational data was locked inside an existing SCADA system, making it difficult for management to monitor performance or identify unusual behaviour.

Built a secure web dashboard that connected directly to existing plant systems, providing live visibility, historical trends and remote access without replacing existing infrastructure.
03 / THE DISCOVERY
The dashboard uncovered a previously unnoticed energy anomaly that had gone undetected through manual monitoring.
04 / THE IMPACT
The dashboard identified an energy anomaly consuming approximately €7,000 per month in unnecessary electricity. Over the first six months after deployment, this equated to an estimated €42,000 in energy savings, while giving management continuous visibility into plant performance and ensuring similar issues are now detected immediately.

05 / FOUNDER NOTE
I'm Shane Conroy. I founded Tractis to bridge two worlds that rarely come together: industrial engineering and modern AI.
My career began in industrial automation, commissioning safety-critical PLC and SCADA systems across the pharmaceutical, water and food industries. Seeing the limits of traditional software, I went on to earn a Master's in Computer Science specialising in AI and machine learning.
I then worked as a Machine Learning Engineer, building production AI systems and infrastructure before founding Tractis.
Most automation engineers can't build modern AI systems. Most AI developers have never worked in complex operational environments. Tractis exists to bring the two together.
