01 / THE PROBLEM

Zero real-time visibility into UV energy consumption. Inefficiencies were hidden until the monthly bill.

02 / THE SOLUTION

A secure web dashboard sitting on top of the site's existing SCADA. It liberated siloed control-room data, giving management live visibility and anomaly detection from anywhere.

03 / THE DISCOVERY

Uncovered a silent anomaly. The UV unit was burning 1,400 kWh/day instead of its 270 kWh/day baseline.

04 / THE IMPACT

The abnormal period meant roughly 33,000 kWh of avoidable energy waste, approximately €8,000 in avoidable cost at standard industrial rates. Future anomalies are now impossible to miss.

Why I built this

I'm Shane Conroy. I founded Tractis to solve a recurring problem across industrial sites: data everywhere, intelligence nowhere.

My career bridges two distinct worlds. I started in industrial automation, commissioning safety-critical PLC and SCADA systems for pharma, water, and food processing. Recognizing the limits of traditional systems, I earned a Master's in Computer Science specializing in AI to build production-grade machine learning applications for industrial settings.

Most automation experts can't ship modern AI. Most AI developers have never stepped foot on a plant floor. Tractis exists to bring the two together.
